Ticked off the List Part 1

Everyone has Life wishes, as simple as things they want to do or pLaces they want to go to, to see, before they die. A bucket List.

I have one, too, and some of the wishes were ticked off the List on the merry trip to Japan Last September. Those are:

  • Visit Opa Hayao’s house aka GhibLi Museum
  • See the Life-size Gundam up cLose
  • CamoufLaging between the torii in Fushimi Inari

I’m going to talk about the Gundam and Fushimi Inari first, because writing about GhibLi Museum will be hard without me getting teary-eyed.

It was raining in Tokyo. Quite hard..

Gwe dan para peserta berjuang menerjang hujan di sepanjang jaLan Odaiba-kaihinkoen station – Diver City.

Gwe kira Diver City itu gedung kantor ato pencakar Langit cutting edge, taunya mall =____=. Masuk, Lewatin food court yang baunya amat sangat menggugah iman, keLuar Lewat FestivaL Entrance..

There it stood. TaLL and handsome. ❤

HE FREAKIN’ MOVED!!!! Damn. Dan ga sempet masuk ke Gundam Front juga..

(this is what I’m taLking about)

Ps: you HAVE to go to Odaiba by Yurikamome Line. It felt Like a ride to the future.

SeriousLy, the torii was HUGE.

Agak kontras sama Lingkungan sekitarnya.. tapi begitu masuk Lingkungan kuiL, peLan-peLan suasana dunia nyata muLai memudar..

Sebenernya gwe pengen ngikutin jaLur senbon torii sampe atas gunung, tapi.. teler.

I really wanted to take one of those torii home, but of course that was imposibLe.. So I just took this one home.

cheap-ish mini torii souvenir that’s now standing proudLy on top of my booksheLf.. I shouLd have bought another pair so I couLd use them as bookends.. =_____=

Part 2 is.. GhibLe Museum!

    whoa! your photos are awesome! how the hell did you get all those toriis to yourself? when i went there it was super hard to take a photo without people going about -__-;; not fair. you should see the torii at Yasukuni, granted, it’s not red as usual (or maybe it’s not red anymore, i’m not sure), but it’s REALLY enormous. But why am I babbling about toriis -_-;;
